From humble beginnings in 1996 as a family business in Cape Town, Motorelli Electric Motors has now grown to one of the largest electric motor suppliers in South Africa. We service the whole of Africa with quality motors, professional service and expert advice from our branches throughout South Africa.
All of our electric motors have been designed by an Australian team and are manufactured in the Rongcheng City, Province of China. This high tech facility manufactures motors for export to Europe the Far East and Africa. As different countries have varying specifications the facility allows us to stipulate specific manufacturing requirements for materials used and critical dimensions to performance values. The design stipulation also ensures that only SKF, FAG or NSK bearings are fitted to Motorelli Electric Motors.
Our entire range of electric motors meets the highest quality standards - all our products are certified in accordance with SABS standards according to SABS 1804 certifcation.

SABS approved
The motor we import and sell is the TEMA motor from China.
We stock the full range of SABS approved motors from 0.55 kw through to 315kw and larger motors up to 15 000 kw are available on request from the factory. The motors are available at various speeds, 2 pole, 4 pole and 6 pole and again higher or lower speed motors are available on request. The motors are foot or foot and flange mounted. They are supplied as three phase 380 V or 525 V or single phase motors.

To provide a service that will exceed our clients expectations by selling quality motors that meet their every requirement at a competitive price with a backup service that is second to none.
We are also aware of our responsibility in the South African market and we are negotiating with a Black Empowerment Company to set up a joint venture.
The aim of this joint venture is twofold:
firstly to provide a vehicle that previously disadvantaged staff and other related parties can use to obtain a share of Motorelli (Pty) Ltd and secondly to expose our motors to the greater African market using a profile that is more suitable to this market.
The profit that will be generated by this Joint Venture will be available for Motorelli's partners in the Joint Venture to buy shares in the company. |
